whoo ~ bro got into the talentime finals
together with his friend & my classmates,of course
the stunts they did was probably the reason why they got in,since they werent exactly very neat when they danced
& i think its funny whenever i think of one or two of the other groups acting all sexy & shaking their bodies like mad on the stage,but they didnt get in LOL
so the finals are at ACS barker,29 april
i have physics tuition on that day =(
told my mum i wanted to watch & surprisingly,she didnt object !
thats a good sign =)

today was a boring day
only half the class was present,because of taekwondo competition,volleyball match & soccer match
all the noisy people werent there
so it was dead quiet during GP
& the slacker physics teacher let us off 45mins early

had birthday celebration yesterday
nicole mak(her birthday is today,but they have competition)& mine(tomorrow)
i found out about the surprise beforehand because celia read the message wrongly - she didnt see my name in the message,so she showed it to me when i said i didnt get any message
then she realised her mistake
but i still got a surprise anyway
cause it was kind of quiet after PE & then suddenly,my classmates started singing the song & bringing a cake out

i was surprised that he gave me something,but then i think he buys presents for all the girls

from yvonne.she made it herself,its not bad for a first attempt

a quarter of the cake left.made by nicole lai.its nice!
half was eaten in school & the other quarter had the other girl's name
the right half was supposed to be on top of the left half
we cut it cause it was too tall to fit into the box

my mum was ignoring me for a while,or maybe,she was ignoring the three of us
it was probably because of my results
i told them i got E for both physics & chem
she wasnt happy & asked when is the meet-the-parents session
which i dont know
then the ignoring started
until yesterday
because my mum was also in the car when my father picked me up after tuition
so i said everything that happened during the ignoring period : got B for maths(sad),passed econs case study,havent gotten back econs essay,getting back pw results the next day
she was silent for a while & i was thinking shit
but after that,she asked some stuff & when we reached home,she was behaving like usual
so things should be okay

so common tests are over
im not looking forward to getting the results back
since i heard that the results of other classes arent good,even though those classes are supposed to be quite good
& anyway,our teachers are taking such a long time to mark our papers
other classes have gotten their papers back,our teachers havent finish marking our papers
but its not good from what they say
- chem : i've finished marking the first 6 questions & its not likely that the 7th one is going to let you all do very well
- GP : people are getting zeroes for the short questions(because cambridge changed the marking style)
- phy : when i mark your common test,i can see that not everyone is paying attention in class
- econs : out of my 3 classes,your class is the worst
i dont remember if the maths teacher said anything or not,i dont listen much during maths tutorials
so i can only hope for the best

according to our PE teacher,it started yesterday & will last for 3 weeks
& he's going to give us the test only when he feels that are ready for it(which will never happen)
he found out that we are really lousy at standing broad jump
so he stacked the mats we use to do sit-ups until it reached around the stomach area & then he told us to jump onto it
some girls managed to do it,but the rest of us couldnt
he reduced the height & told us to jump from a further distance,i still couldnt do it
but when i tried doing stading broad jump after PE,i managed to pass !
thats enough for me
& i tried sit & reach too
i hit 49cm,my furthest ever
i told my siblings about it
my bro said he hit 50cm before
thats just not normal
arent guys supposed to be not so good at sit & reach ?

talentime !
5 of my classmates,together with my bro & his friend,formed a group & danced
[my bro is the odd one out.the rest are from taekwondo]
but because we(the J2s)had the common test,they didnt have much time to get together to practise
they only had one week from the end of our common test to the audition day(2 days ago)

it didnt matter how much they practised individually
it looked abit messy when all of them danced together & there was always the space issue - when they started dancing,they are nicely spaced out.but when they moved around,the right side looked abit cramped but the left side was so empty.& when they moved around again,the left side is cramped & the right side is empty
plus there's this guy who looks like he doesnt want to move - the rest of them run small steps in front,he just walked - & he couldnt remember the dance moves
so when they auditioned on wednesday,they kind of messed up abit :
- there was the space issue
- my bro forgot some moves & was abit slow for one of the parts where him & 2 other people were supposed to do some move
- one guy also forgot the dance moves & he didnt know what to do
there rest were quite okay,i think
but their song was so damn short

its so short compared to the china group before them
theirs was like 3min at least

but surprisingly,they managed to get into the semi-finals
one of them said all the groups got in(there are 6)
which is damn bloody lame
if all got in,what in the world is the audition for ?
but even if they got in,they may not be so lucky this time round
they only have 1 week to come up with the song & submit it & the semi-finals is on 13april
plus the taekwondo people have competition coming up which is on 15april,so they have training almost everyday & they end damn late
so i dont think they will be able to do very much better the next time round,even though i hope they can move on to the finals

im getting more & more fed up
its almost criminal to even touch my phone whenever my mum is at home
she comes into the room,sees me holding my phone,asks 'what are you doing ?' or 'are you playing game ?'
sometimes,i am playing games
but she said herself that its not possible for us to study all the time
so i dont understand why she gets upset when im playing
at times like this,i wish so badly that i have my own room

on a lighter note,i like the wedding dress song
i heard people talking about it,but i never listened to it
& when my bro was learning the dance for the talentime auditions,i kind of fell in love with it
both the korean & english version
but i like the english version more,cause i can understand it XD

if the world is really ending next year,
why the hell am i still studying for A levels ?

today is friday
common test will start after the weekends
& they freaking put home-based learning today
wth
while the J2s are panicking over studying for common test(or at least me),they want us to do HBL ?? plus quiz ?!
& i thought HBL was supposed to be for subjects which fall on friday since we didnt have lessons last friday because of sports meet
why in the world is there econs,maths & chem HBL when the lessons i have on friday are only physics & GP ?!

so anyways
i wrote all the topics tested for all the subjects for the common test on a post-it & stuck it to my calendar
phy - oscillations,wave motion,superposition,electric field
maths - binomial,APGP,MOD,graphing techniques,inequalities,differential equations,P&C,probability,binomial & poisson distribution
chem - alkanes,alkenes,arenes,halogen derivatives,hydroxy compounds,carbonyl compounds,carboxylic acids,nitrogen compounds,reaction kinetics,QA [i could have written organic chem,but i decided to list everything out]
econs - inflation,GDP/GNP,unemploymeny,BOP,exchange rate
it was supposed to scare me into studying everytime i look up from my work
but instead,i look at the subjects individually & think ' maths&chem SHOULD be okay,the topics tested phy&econs dont look as much compared to maths&chem so i SHOULD be able to finish studying '

& in the end ?
i havent started on phy&econs.im left with half of carboxylic acids,nitrogen compounds,reaction kinetics & QA for chem.i studied until graphing for maths.
& I ONLY HAVE 2 DAYS LEFT TO THE START OF COMMON TEST
not to mention monday is GP & i havent studied GP either(although i dont know what to study)

on a lighter note,we had buffet lunch today !
since both my mum & dad took leave
we ate at a japanese restaurant
it cost us $116.52 wth
its daylight robbery
& i didnt even eat until i was bursting full
cause i always eat until i feel like bursting when we have buffet meals
so i decided to stop stuffing myself so much cause im getting too fat
i wonder if the high price has got to do with the situation in japan now O.O

i got D =(
i wasnt expecting it,since i normally get C or B for school exams & i got A for promos
i cried that night
if my family members noticed my swollen eyes the next day,im thankful that they didnt say anything
cause that might have made me start crying again
but im okay already
cant do anything about it anyway

been busy with the preparation for sports meet
cause the girls wanted to help out,be student officials
so i joined them

the real thing today
OUR HOUSE WON !!
=) happy~
& when the house master talked to the J2s some time back,he made it sound like we were going to lose badly
' i know there are a lot of talents out there,but none of you are joining ! '

the women there have to give birth to sons
if they dont,they may be burnt/abused by their mother-in-laws & 1 woman almost died while giving birth to her 8th child
but her mother-in-law & husband dont allow her to be sterilised because she only has 1 son & they are afraid that there will be no sons left if the son dies young

i thought maths will be the only subject which i dont have to worry too much,but then they started teaching P&C,probability,binomial & poisson distribution
which is totally out of my league

i found out one advantage of having the J1s in school
THEY FILL UP THE DISTILLED WATER BOTTLE
i used to do that always cause thats what the teacher told us to do
& i will get irritated when its empty
but before the J1s came,its always empty
so i also dont refill it
but now,there's a J1 class right before my chem practical
=)

why has the frequency of tests increased so much ?
we have tests every week,sometimes two tests a week
plus there's still alot of J1 stuffs that i cant remember

HOW ?!

im quitting physics tuition
the tutor seems so unsure himself
& anyway,with so many tuitions,its quite hard to do the tutorials and study for the tests
dont know if my mum will allow me to be tuition-less for physics or not though
its my second weakest subject

im so annoyed with the two vietnamese girls in my class
they keep following the 5 of us around all the time
& its kind of weird la
since last year,they are always together & they never wait for us or talk much to us
suddenly this year,they start sticking to us & acting like we have always been a group of 7
plus they like to sit in between us - they purposely choose the seats in the middle during lectures & tutorials so that the 5 of us have to be split up
& for some strange reason,they like to walk so bloody closely to us - when u stop walking,they bump into you
WTH ?!
we made it quite obvious that we didnt like it recently(at least 4 of us did,cause 1 seems to be okay with it)
- last friday,we pulled 2 empty tables that were beside them to the back cause we didnt want to sit with them
- today during lecture,we sat at another row even though there were empty spaces beside them
BUT they still dont seem to realise it
which makes me wonder if they are just plain insensitive or they are acting dumb

apparently,there's someone like that in my bro's class too
not to that extent,but he follows them around & nobody likes him
& yesterday,my bro & one other guy actually ran to the canteen to escape from him
wtf
the 5 of us couldnt do that even if we wanted to
they follow us too closely

im going to rejoice when the year finally comes to a close

we played touch rugby last friday !
cause our physics teacher finished the tutorial early so he allowed us to leave 1 hour earlier =)
we were playing volleyball actually,but the guys came & joined in
then they got bored cause we were too lousy
so they went to play touch rugby & we went to join them LOL
& because they run so bloody fast,only 3 of the girls continued playing cause the rest felt that they werent really playing
IT WAS FUN !! XD
even though i tripped over somebody's leg & have this patch on my right leg with the skin torn off
& because of it,i found out that some of the guys in class are quite nice people(they asked if i wanted plasters)
but the injury is getting more & more itchy
its a good sign,but it makes me feel like scratching it

the J1s have officially started their lessons
which means we have to get out of the LTs & classrooms immediately when the lesson/tutorial is over
which means the canteen is very crowded during breaks
which means the queues when buying food are long

guess the J2s last year felt that way too

the girls in my class dont like having a sibling in the same school as them
they say it feels like there is someone spying on you
for me,i have a sibling in the same school as me all my life & i dont feel that way
BUT i kind of understand what they mean
because two times,my bro smsed me 'i can see you' when i couldnt see him
& there's another disadvantage
that lazy boy always asks me to help him do stuff
- help him order GC cause the queue will be super long during his breaks
- help him buy PE shirts&shorts cause his breaks are short & he needs to eat
- help him buy lab goggles.sis told whoever is buying lab goggles to buy another one for her friend.he said he buy his own,tell me buy another one for sis's friend WTH
& when i helped him order his GC,the auntie say its so good to have a sibling in the same school

i saw a J1 girl doing her chem tutorial on the bus
wth,the lecturer hasnt even finished the topic

sports meet coming up
i signed up to be a student official because most of the girls also signed up
probably because of the CIP hours - 17 hours
BUT i dont know what being a student official means
i only know i will be very tired & starving for a few days
because we have to go for meetings for 4 days(3 of which fall on my tuition days)& the meetings are until 6,7pm
& tuition starts at 7.30pm
i will be late even if i rush there,so dinner will be after 9.30pm
& i normally sleep at least one hour before tuition so that i wont feel so sleepy during tuition
but since the meeting ends at 7pm,i cant sleep =(

econs & phy test on thursday & friday
dont feel like studying even though i dont have much time left to study & i havent started studying

chinese new year celebrations today
its WOW compared to last year
last year,the J1s were in one of the lecture theatres & the J2s were in the hall
they did some live recording so we could see what was going on in the hall
but i dont even remember what the celebrations were about
i just remember some singing
we got to go home after like one hour -.-

this year,there was lion dance,a 变脸 performance & singing,dancing performances
the lion dance was kind of awkward at one point
cause a while after the lion appeared,they stopped hitting the drums & the lion was in the same position for some time
the J1s must have thought the performance was over cause there was a lot of applause from the back
then the music came back on & the lion started moving again
LOL

& the two people under the lion head & skin just jumped onto the long wooden bench
the whole thing went down in the middle & it looked like it was going to break
they're lucky it didnt or it would have been so embarrassing

the 变脸 performance was done by a singaporean !
i thought only the taiwanese & the china people do it
but the guy wasnt very good - he kept one hand hidden most of the time & we could see the masks going down

a tibetian girl sang
its damn nice ! but i didnt really like the screaming parts

a vietnamese & three koreans performed too
one of the koreans is my classmate
& three people(not from my class)actually ran up the stage & asked for his autograph
we laughed like mad & i think he was shocked :o

it was definitely more enjoyable & memorable than last year's

J1 orientation camp ended today
i guess they're kind of unlucky
on monday,their first day,it rained the entire day so they could only stay indoors
& from what we saw,they seemed to be going up & down the stairs & walking around the school a lot
plus all the cheering which we could hear from the classrooms & LTs

yesterday,they had water games on the field & this morning too(before the celebrations)
it should be more enjoyable than cheering,even though it looked extremely chaotic

my bro said they had a haunted house too
the OGLs took them into the toilets -_-
but he said it was scary - not the 'ghosts',but the atmosphere
& he said they had to comb the hair of a 'ghost' at one of the stations
that's freaky,even if they know that its not a real ghost
& also,when they were in the toilet,they stood at one side & suddenly someone was banging the door of the cubicle from the inside
gave them all a shock because it was so quiet actually

one thing i find weird though
they dont know their classes yet
so they didnt have the orientation camp with their classmates
which is strange
i thought they were supposed to bond with their classmates since they have to spend 2 years with them
thats what our OGLs told us last year
so i dont understand why they had the camp so early this year

chinese new year tomorrow
have to go to those temples again

even though its only once a year
but still,i dont like going there
plus the relatives which we arent really close with
im charging my phone tonight & spamming it all tomorrow

i decided to go on a strike last week
a food strike
because the maid cooks the same damn dish everyday
so i told my mum if she cooked that again,i wont eat it
but i only succeeded once -.-
because my mum told the maid to cook other stuffs
but im still going to continue my strike

i wonder who the hell designed our timetable
PE days are on monday & thursday
after thursday's PE,i will ache in a few places until sunday
then monday comes & there's PE again
& i start aching all over again
but the aches subside,thursday comes
so i ache everyday

& the nursery rhymes parents sing to their children are about killing americans
its kind of disturbing to see all the people worshipping the leader when their living conditions are not exactly fantastic
makes me wonder if they really worship the leader or if they are just afraid of being punished if they dont behave that way

all i want to do everyday i go home is to sleep
didnt get much stuff done last week

made us all shocked

then we had PE yesterday

the teacher made it sound so nice
basically,we just carried each other
fireman's lift,piggyback & the one where two people's arms form a square for the third person to sit
so freaking scary
we saw the guys do the fireman's lift before
& they had to run across the field with somebody across his shoulders

the second time,we didnt wait for the rain to stop before continuing because the rain didnt look like it was going to stop & we had to return the bikes or my father would have to pay extra

sunday,went to uncle's house for a gathering
it would have been more fun if my aunt's family was there
the friends of 2 of the cousins were there as well,so us 3 didnt really interact with them much

until like 5 mins before the show,my classmate said the person performing is her pastor

BUT towards the end,the pastor preached for so long
something about opening your heart to jesus & stuff

after the show,we [classmates + ex-GP teacher(she's from the same church as my classmate) + her boyfriend] went for supper
i dint eat cause by the time we reached the eating place,it was time for me to go
the boyfriend & 2 other friends drove me to tanah merah mrt station since they were driving the boyfriend home so that he could take his car
& they said ' see you again ! '

but today,the ex-GP teacher called me & asked me if i wanted to join them for church gatherings
i didnt want to cause i wasnt really interested & it seems kind of hard to accept the christian thing so soon

i told her it was kind of hard to accept it so soon & then she asked if i wanted to join them for a christmas celebration this saturday

finally
after like,3 days of talks

one of the talks was actually quite interesting
the one where a woman talked about the pedra branca conflict
she's a good speaker,unlike the others

on monday,we went to the subordinate court & had a tour of the parliament house
my primary 5 & 6 english teacher used to tell us that we had to pronounciate,enunciate,articulate etc etc
it was on this day that i understood what she meant
the officer who was reading out the charges in the subordinate court was totally unclear
i couldnt hear anything he was saying
i wonder how the judge hears i wonder why there are no microphones in the subordinate courts when there are so many in the supreme court - the judge has 1,the witness has 1,the lawyers had 2 each

the judge talked to us too

& the officers shout 'COURT!' when the judge enters & leaves the courtroom & we had to stand gave me a shock
i wasnt expecting it

parliament house tour wasnt really a tour
we just watched a video & were brought to the place where the politicians discuss stuff

today was the last day,or more accurately,yesterday
after the talks,there was a segment where the students can say anything they wanted to
1 guy (i dont know what school he is from,his tie is blue & gold stripes) went up & said about having free breakfast at the law firm his group went to etc,basically the more fun stuff
then,a hwa chong guy went up & shouted SHUT UP! into the microphone (cause people were laughing & his group was cheering),then he went on to scold them i cant really remember what he said,but he mentioned that we were there to learn & if you just wanted to screw around,then GO AWAY ! BECAUSE YOU ARE MAKING ME PISSED !
i was wondering what the hell was wrong with him when a third person (from the same school as the first guy) went up
he said that he learnt from his mentors,who are lawyers,that a lawyer should stay calm & rational at all times,must be responsible for his actions,cannot let his emotions get the better of him etc
he got the loudest applause & cheers LOL

& one of my group members acutally went to apologise to one of the organising committee members because the guy who shouted is his friend -.- idiot

day 2,tuesday
our group was scheduled to attend a hearing at the supreme court in the morning
we went there & were told that the hearing was cancelled
2 group members called up the law academy & asked if there was any other hearing we could attend since we were already there
they told us to go to the court of appeal
it was damn boring cause i dint understand a single thing that was going on

went back to the office for about 1-2 hours before going to the supreme court again because a group member's mentor was involved in a hearing so the rest of us went along
it was so interesting !
as compared to the one in the morning
the difference : the witness
i love the way the lawyer cross-examined the witness
her tone is so sarcastic & the judge is humourous too

went home after the hearing ended even though it was only 4+pm
the girl's mentor said we could go home since no one really cared if we went back to the office or not
so i went home

day 3,wednesday
we were in the supreme court the whole day
there was a continuation of the previous day's hearing
but it was a little frustrating when the lawyer was cross-examining the second witness
the idiot didnt understand english
he was supposed to answer yes/no or agree/disagree only when the lawyer asked him
but he was like I disagree.Actually,I...
& then he got cut off by the judge : Mr Cheong,please focus on the question
or he goes If I may have the chance to explain
& the judge will be No.No chance
so it was irritating in that sense

i wanted to hear the closing
i wanted to know who will win the case
but the judge gave the lawyer so much time to submit their closing statements,until next year for one of them

my feet hurt too much from the past 3 days,so i wore slippers to tanjong pagar station before changing to the heels

my mentor told me to write a statement of claim for a case & told me to do a memorandum
the statement of claim is like the background of the situation
that was still okay cause i had references,so i could copy the format
the memorandum is the background of the situation + legal advice to the client

when my mentor told me that,i was stunned for about 2 seconds
she said i had to state whether i thought they had a case or not
then i asked but how am i supposed to know ?
the reply : you read all these la,then say whether you think there is a case or not
i purposely took super long to do so that she couldnt give me any more work
anyway,i dint know how the hell to do the legal advice thing,so its not entirely not wanting to do extra work

at the end of the day,i wanted to let her know that i was done,wanted to submit it
but she was having a discussion with her boss & another person
so i just left

day 5,today
heck,i wore slippers to the office
feet hurt too much

so i read news online(i read the news every morning cause she's always not at her table in the morning)
i walked past her office occassionally until 12+,but she still wasnt there
then she came & asked how i was coming along

last saturday was a conference,or rather,"opening session"
there was a talk on Introduction to the Singapore Legal System
VERDICT : boring
Q&A session was supposed to last 10mins
it took 40mins
i dont even understand half the questions that were being asked
there are 42 groups in total,my group is number 6

this week is job shadowing,where we were assigned to our mentors
today is the first day
MY FEET BLOODY HURT
even though the heels were so damn short,my feet still hurt bad
i cant understand for the life of me how females wear those heels which are super high
my toes started hurting first(from trying so hard to balance in the train cause my mum pulled me to the middle where there was nothing to hold)
then the back part above the heel had blisters
today's the only first day
4 more days to go
thank god next week is visits to the subordinate courts & parliament house so we get to wear school uniform & my beloved sneakers
i think this is the ONLY time i want very much to wear school uniform cause it means i can wear comfortable shoes

so anyway,my job today was just to read
my mentor gave me files to read - one is an ongoing case & one is already over but recent
im not supposed to reveal the contents
BUT its boring to read factual stuff
the story part(the background of why one party is suing the other)is interesting enough,but it gets boring when there's alot of additional info that isnt related to the case(at least i think so)
give me an interesting story - crime,mystery,romance - i'll sit there the whole damn day
give me factual stuff,i get restless in less than an hour

the people there all seem so busy & i dint want to disturb my mentor
so i purposely took hours to read the files
- she told me to read two-thirds of the file,i read the whole thing
- after i read finish what i was supposed to read,i continued sitting there for like 20-30mins more before telling her i was done or i went to the toilet

& finally,we were allowed to leave
but i still couldnt rest =(

i feel cheated
i found out today that this week is not the last day of school

didnt realise it has been so long since i last blogged
i dont really have a choice,since i had to study for promos
its not over yet,but i can slack just a little
since i only have physics left & its on next monday

lets start with the first subject : GP
i think im more confident of paper 1
since the highest i ever got for the AQ is 3 & my answers to the other questions always seem to differ from those in the mark scheme
but in paper 1,i wrote something about educating the government on the topic of poverty
which my siblings thought was ridiculous
i thought so too,but i needed one more point & i couldnt think of any

next : chinese,on the same day as GP
i dont know what to feel
for paper 1,i did a question about people using packets of tissue paper to 'chop' a place in hawker centres & an argument ensuing cause somebody ignored the tissue papers & just sat down to eat
its a narrative story & the question asked for what happened during the argument
so i wrote a lot of dialogue & i started a new paragraph everytime someone talked
i feel kind of insecure,since i've never written compos with so many dialogues before
paper 2 was kind of difficult too,didnt really understand the passages

one of the physics teachers tried the paper & he finished it right on time
which meant that we wouldnt be able to complete it -- unless we shaded whichever letter we liked
he said paper 2 is quite easy though

went to NTU yesterday
because my sis had a four-hour break & she said that there was no one to spend the time with
so i brought all my maths & chem stuff there
cause i know that i will have a lot to ask my sis

after i reached,we spent a while looking for the library -.-
saw one of our cousin's husband there
found a place to sit & i started doing maths
my sis went to find some books cause the lecturer told them to do some further reading
i got stuck at a question,couldnt get the answer
i asked my sis & went to help her continue finding the 2 other books,even though she hasnt read finish the first one

i looked through all the titles & only one word jumped out at me : PROTEINS

then my father came cause he had to sign something regarding my sis's study loan

because of this,it took her so long to come up with the 6 groups
finally,she realised that she couldnt please everybody
so she left '' the last group to die ''

one of the guys was damn angry
his reason was cause there was this super slack guy in his group
this super slack guy is in my pw group & so far,he has only helped to create a group email & he offered to decorate the written report
i dont know why the guy was so angry though

& besides,he's the same kind of person
one of the girls is in his pw group & apparently,he's the group leader(because he demanded that he wanted to be)

i liked the part when all the military vehicles (or whatever you call them) came out

i only liked the huge monster,which my sis said took 20 people to control

& they(one guy in particular was the loudest)were making so much noise that i upped my music volume
it was almost the max volume,yet i could still hear his witch-like cackle
my music was so loud that my friend,who was also listening to her music,could hear
i dint like that guy to begin with,so it was bloody annoying to me
i was going to up the volume some more,but thank god,they left to change into their PE shirts

had econs tutorial today
the taekwondo people in my class were going to watch the YOG & they were supposed to leave right in the middle of econs
after some discussion,they decided that the monster wont release them so they wanted to skip the whole of econs
too bad for them,the monster knew that they could only be released at 1pm
she made the chairman call them & tell them to come
they came & she said because they were late,they had to stay for the whole lesson
but she dint,she let them go at before 1.10pm cause they had to go the place themselves
towards the end of the lesson,she said we did very well for our lecture test & only 3 people failed

national celebrations yesterday sucked
there was mass games
4 games were going on at the same time

the class is much larger now, because the teacher combined some of her classes

annoying guy 2 reads even louder (he sits diagonally in front of us & we could still hear him)
everytime he reads or answers questions,my sis & i will look over because we're irritated
& most of the time,my sis will make some kind of face
which makes both of us start laughing like mad
but its bloody tough because we have to control like crazy,if not it will be damn noisy

once,when we were controlling our laughter,the teacher asked what the time was
everyone turned around to look at the clock

the question was something about preserving a chinese festival

yesterday,after PE,an ambulance came to my school
& left with my classmate in it
he did a backflip on the chin-up bar,landed,slipped & knocked his lower back then his head damn hard
the other people who saw said he knocked his tailbone,but i dont know
then he started shaking & foaming a bit at the mouth
thats about it

its so scary to see something like that happen
but he's fine now,thank god

i saw the whole thing happen,from the time he ran to the chin-up bar until the ambulance left the school
cause we were having a break,so we were watching

then took us on a tour of the workshop

i liked the polishing section the most,because the cars there were all shiny & nice-looking

missing physics & maths,i feel neutral

at least i can stone & not listen during lecture

i got econs tuition now
just started last sunday
funny thing is the other 5 people in the class all take H2 econs,im the only exception
even funnier thing is all of us are from JJ
so coincidental
whatever it is,i hope there's improvement in my econs grade
but i guess it will be quite hard since i dont like econs the least bit

the VP says our promos will be 40% of our whole year's results
i thought its alot
& then my sister tells me in AJ,the promos is 85%

i only realised the irony when one guy mentioned when my father & me & the guy were in the lift
then i thought it was funny

i dont know when promos is but suddenly,it seems so near
i thought sec4 passed by very quickly,but JC is worse
i hope the 24 people in my class(including me)get promoted to J2
there's a group of guys who are jokers & i dont want to see any one of them retaining

it rained like crazy in the morning
my father dropped my mum off at chinese garden MRT station & drove me to school
but there was a traffic jam
the common test was supposed to start at 8.15am
i reached between 8.15am - 8.20am & quickly went to the hall
only to find three of my classmates sitting outside
then one of them said the common test was postponed to 9am

i thought i was quite late,but apparently,i wasnt the latest
people were still coming in at 8.50am

makes me wonder if the A level exams will be pushed back because of the weather

my bro has a newfound joy -- spamming my phone with messages

im getting sadder when each day passes

one week of holidays is gone
so fast =(
i shall start with monday

monday,had maths lecture & chem tutorial & lecture
during maths lecture,i saw some of the guys go out,one after another
funny thing was,4 out of 5 of them went to the female toilet side
& they never came back until one hour later
i got a message from one of them : who wants mac
wth

lunch,none of the stalls in the canteen was open
so we 5 girls went to macdonalds & bought takeaway lunch
we walked damn fast there & back,cause we thought we were going to be late for chem tutorial
after reaching back at school,we still had 15mins before tutorial starts
someone suggested eating inside the classroom so we went up --- only to find the classroom locked
so we sat outside to eat
teacher came,went back down to get the keys
some guys came
all of them saw us sitting outside the class eating

but the teacher dint scold

tuesday,i dont remember what i did

wednesday,went to the library with my sis

thursday,had physics lesson
met the pw group at 9.30am at the macdonalds near JJC
but we met too early -- we got most of the things we wanted to discuss done before 10.30am
then wasted time until 11.30am before having lunch
it was still quite early when we went to school,so we waited in the classroom
after waiting a long long time,people started coming
then the teacher came

the lesson was a waste of time la

in the end,i feel that my essay doesnt make sense at all

individual subject grades are :

cant believe i passed econs --- 50/100
but they probably gave me sympathy marks cause i got 9.8 out of 20% when i counted

my sis said she usually gets 40+ rank points
BUT the difference is that she's in AJ & im in JJ
so there's nothing for me to be happy about

we need either 2H2 & 1H1 or 3H2 passes to promote to J2
i think i have a higher chance of passing my 3H2 subjects than my H1(econs)

my father shouted at the maid on wednesday night
cause my sis saw her go out of the house to talk to another maid
my mum was angry when my sis announced it during dinner
she asked my father if he wanted to scold her but he dint say anything,just continued eating
my mum was angry cause she was worried she would bring someone into the house

my mum was scolding her when my father suddenly shouted
my sis & i were in the room
i was sleepy,but was shocked awake by my father's sudden outburst

& the maid did that stupid shivering thing again

cousin's wedding yesterday
i pity all the 兄弟
the women made them drink some weird bittergourd stuff, put nutella on each other's face & then lick it off & made them dance to a stupid dance by show luo & rainie yang

the hotel staff were so wasteful

but i only feel that on fridays
i feel especially tired from tuedays to thursdays

saturday morning,after our parents drove my sis & back from korean class,we met this small girl outside the lift
she was crying damn loudly cause she couldnt find her mum
my mum walked around trying to see if the girl's mum was there,but there wasnt anyone
then the girl said her mum went up the lift without her cause she walked too slowly
when my mum asked which floor she lived on,she said she dint know & continued crying & crying
then she said 12th floor
at that time,the lift was coming down from the 13th floor so my sis said maybe her mum was coming down for her

but a malay guy came out when the lift reached the 1st floor
she cried even harder & said that wasnt her mum
we all went into the lift with her & went up to the 13th floor(we were going there anyway)
when we reached 13th floor,the door opened & a woman was standing there
it dint even occur to me that the woman may be her mum
then the girl walked towards her & both of them went down the stairs

even if the girl walked so slowly,the mum shouldnt have left her on her own
she's just a kid
i got lost before many years ago in one of the stores in a shopping centre,so i know how it felt

the woman's a monster

yesterday,she started a new topic during the lecture
i realised that she was actually still bearable if she talks nonstop

cousin's 21st birthday at aloha changi on friday
we went to aloha loyang then realised we went to the wront chalet cause the person said there was no BLOCK F

we dint cycle
partly cause my bro was lazy to
& partly cause it was too troublesome
my father would have to drive us out somewhere to cycle & pick us up after we were done

so we spent the time learning mahjong from my father
its like weird
we see each other at home everyday & we go to a chalet to learn mahjong

we played in the room at first with my father's mini mahjong set
then played the big one outside
some people came to see
my uncle,aunt,someone we dint know & my grandmother

when my grandmother came,she watched us play a while
when it was my turn,she looked at my tiles & started pointing & saying a string of hokkien
which i did not understand at all
so i just discarded the tile which she was pointing at

my father tried explaining to us how to play with money
but we dint understand
so we're noobs & cant play with money

my cousin's friends were all so bloody lame
just cause he has a girlfriend,they keep telling him to kiss her in front of the video cam when he was about to cut the cake
after he kissed her on the cheek,they started cheering & clapping
then they said it wasnt captured on the video cam & told him to do it again

but he has so many friends
they practically flooded the place

& i got a shock when i saw the cousin who was the same age as me
he walked past outside & i was thinking '' who's that girl ? ''
then i realised who it was the next second
its because of the hair

& im impressed at the maid

the type used to drink soup
we've used it for years
she comes barely a month & breaks it
i dont know what to say

my sis got into NTU
she received the letter today
my parents were happy,obviously
i feel happy for her too,but it made me feel like ' what if i cant do it ? '

the maid's a JOKE
last saturday night,she wore her 2 or 3 layers of clothes & long pants over her shorts to sleep as usual
when the 3 of us went to sleep at 1+am,we saw her blanket thrown off & she was fanning herself

civics on this week's monday was the most enjoyable civics period so far

house council rally yesterday
thank god we only had to listen to those from our house
i would have died if we had to listen to every single applicant from the whole J1 cohort

cabinet council rally today
we were studying for chem while they were talking
i only listened to the group belmen was in (give him face,lols)
the first few groups did it so fast,it looked as if they went for fun

yesterday,two of my friends & i were looking at the council boards thing
saw the group picture of the rono house
belmen looks as if he's acting cool.one thumb in the pocket & head tilted
but that group picture looks the nicest compared to the rest
& he kept telling us to vote for him -.-

we watched it in 3D & it freaking cost $14 each
because its 3D + its the eve of a public holiday
they are obviously out to cheat people of their money
but we dont have a choice,so seldom where the three of us can watch a movie together especially since my bro is so busy with his homework

it was a waste of money
it doesnt look as if there is much difference between 2D & 3D
but everything in the show looks so real
the monsters,the damn big scorpions & the underworld etc
they dont look fake
i still think AVATAR was nicer even though my sis said they are nice in different ways so i cannot compare

cousin's birthday tomorrow

i dont get it
why must people make the 21st birthday such a big thing ?
just because they're officially an adult ?
its just being one year older
im only looking forward to it because we're cycling tomorrow
we havent done that in a long long time

disney on ice was lame
the five of us were so so so over-aged
it was the first time in my life where i saw so many small kids

it tells a story,they merged the fairytales together
i only enjoyed the skating because the storyline was too childish
my bro even said he would rather be doing his homework

even the cinema seats were more comfortable then the seats in the indoor stadium
popcorn freaking costs $6 a box
the drink holder looks as if its about to drop off anytime
the family beside me kept moving around & shaking the entire row of seats
to think we paid $58.50 each for these
what in the hell

if we had watched it long ago,we would have liked it alot
& probably behaved like the small girl in front of us who cried when the witch appeared
so cute of her

the maid is a weirdo
i mean it
she says singapore is cold
wth ? is indonesia even hotter ?
& when she sleeps at night,she :
- closed all the windows
- doesnt turn on the fan
- wears a jacket
-wears socks
- covers herself with a blanket
& she still says she's cold
my mum gave her some shirts which we dint want anymore & one of my father's long pants

watched this with my sis yesterday
we both read the book awhile ago,so we knew what it was about
even though we knew,it was still nice
but there were some parts we didnt understand
the abstract stuffs

on the way back home yesterday,my sis & i saw two gays
at least we think so
they were standing in front of us & one guy kept touching the other guy's butt
he kept alternating between the left side & the right side
then he put his arm around the guy's waist & occasionally pulled him closer
my sis saw one of them touching the other guy's face
so freaky
first time seeing this kind of thing between guys

& i didnt think there were still nice bus drivers around
this week,two bus drivers greeted me when i boarded the bus
they caught me by surprise
in the four years i've taken 176 to & from commonwealth,no bus driver smiled or greeted me before

sucks big time
econs quiz made me have no mood to do the rest
cause i scored 3 out of 15
im an econs retard

i passed the chem class quiz !
but i managed to pass all thanks to the bonus questions
i would have failed without them

the two-day enterprise training programme is finally over
there's a third day sometime later
dammit

there's a girl in my group who's everyone's enemy
we were supposed to think of a product to sell
whatever other people's idea was,she either laughs at it or say its stupid & not practical
she thought of three & we had to choose one
she said ' anything lor,anyway all of them are my ideas what '
wth ? just slap her face man

each group was supposed to share their idea with everyone else & other groups could give comments
she commented on every idea that was presented
so when she presented for our group,one guy kept shooting back at her
serves her right

today,we had to decide how much shares we wanted to sell
our leader said 3,she said 2
the rest of us dint mind selling 3
they argued over it awhile & somehow followed her idea
the person who bought our shares said she was willing to buy our shares at a higher price,but we offered lower than what she was willing to pay
so we could have earned more money actually
our leader was of course unhappy,he said to her ' so now you happy ? '
she still said ' of course la,i won against you what '
such a bitch

whatever
dont want to talk about her anymore
it just makes me feel good that nobody in the cca likes her

it was really funny watching them

she heard ' sleep ' , thanked my mum & went to sleep
my mum called her back to the room
there were other things which were totally hilarious,such as her saying hello to the hamster etc etc

A level results out today
MY SISTER FRIGGING GOT A FOR ECONS
when all along she doesnt like econs & fail econs
although im happy for her,i also feel like whacking her
econs is like abstract art to me
i dont understand econs

she got A for GP & maths too

but her chem & bio were B & C

i helped her count the points thing
i dont know how many times i typed the numbers on the calculator because she was afraid that there was a mistake somewhere

it was such a rare sight that i took a picture,but my bro deleted it

MY FATHER IS HOME !
finally
he has been at the hospital for nearly one month
but he still has to go for follow-ups & stuffs
he has to carry a little black bag (i dont know what's inside)wherever he goes
it looks kind of funny on him

the first guy threw something at the other's head,then typed a message on the calculator & passed it to the other
the other took a damn long time to reply,then passed it back,but the first guy deleted the messaged without even looking at the calculator
some time later,the second guy said something about wanting to whack the first guy
then the second guy said ' you jealous of my good looks ? ' (which i thought was funny)

during civics,the VP told us that we had to start studying NOW

my father cant come out today
the doctor changed his anitibiotics last night & they need to monitor him for one more day

PE just now was about teamwork,after we were ' punished '
we were all quite late for PE
& the teacher saw two guys (from another class) strolling
so he made the guys do push-ups & told the girls to run one round on the track in 1min40s
as we passed the J2 guys,i heard one say ' wah,J1 girls run faster than us.. '
like we have a choice -.-
then he made us run one more round in 1min50s cause the first girl took 1min49s

did some teamwork stuff after that
the girls completed both activities before the guys
the teacher said its because girls are more flexible than guys at this age o.o

my bro had flag day today
my sis & i saw about 8 students holding the cans
i gave 50cents to a guy cause he was alone and had no friends with him
walked further & saw three commonwealthians
i gave to all three since i was left with my last three coins

went to the maid agency to see the maid & get the paperwork done
the reason why we're getting one again is cause my father needs someone to cook for him after he's discharged
we saw the maid through webcam
it was quite funny because she sat in front of the computer for some time before the woman at the maid agency started asking her questions & she was smiling the whole time
doesnt the mouth ache from smiling for so long ?

after that,we went to the hospital
we reached at 1+ cause we waited a long time for a taxi & there was a traffic jam
we went up for awhile then went to the food court to have lunch
the stupid policeman refused to let us go up after that cause visiting hours were over (until 2pm)
my mum went to the counter person & told her about it
she crapped about patients needing rest & stuff
then finally,she let my mum go up to ask the nurse if the the patient could have visitors or something like that
after the nurse called them to say my father can have visitors,we were allowed to go up
while my sis & i were waiting,the stupid policeman allowed other people who came after 2pm to go up
made my mum so angry -.-

& he has to stay at home & rest for like 2 months
